Some GREAT mystery types (Christian, but not cheezy) are by Robert Whitlow. And make SUre you've read Francine Rivers. I know you weren't looking for just Christian, but those are some off the top of my head! i LOVE to read!!This Is Stupidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10506182047874858138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2654799983109567382.post-74051143058035676622010-05-02T16:10:06.948-04:002010-05-02T16:10:06.948-04:00No, I'm not looking for just Christian Fiction...No, I'm not looking for just Christian Fiction. In fact, I'm really just now giving Christian fiction another try and I've been pleasantly surprised! It's not all cheesy/awful stuff! YAY!

I do prefer books that have some kind of mystery involved (i.e. Mary Higgins Clark, Lisa Gardner, Nora Roberts or James Patterson - love them!) but I definitely always read a Nicholas Sparks book when it comes out. I also really like Karen Kingsbury. I haven't read the Redemption series, but I have read a few later Baxter family books from the Sunrise series and the Above the Line series. I wish I'd known so many of her series followed through the same family so I could have started from the very, very beginning. I'm sure the Redemption books are good, but technically, I already know the end!Valerie Bowmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00609774064668149781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2654799983109567382.post-16673702388605831142010-05-02T14:56:33.148-04:002010-05-02T14:56:33.148-04:00What type of fiction are you into? I recently read The Splitting Storm by Rene Gutteridge, but it was kind of a Christian fiction detective story. Then there's also the Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury, with 5 books all starting with R...I think it's something like Redemtion, Remember, Rejoice, etc etc. Are you only looking for Christian fiction? I'm going to have to check my bookshelf to see what other good ones are there!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07793989842052174918noreply@blogger.com
